Val di Fiemme, surrounded by natural parks and UNESCO Dolomite peaks, is renowned for its resonance firs, used in the construction of musical instruments. With 60 million trees, this valley was the first to eco-certify its forests in 2003, during the Nordic Ski World Championships.

The three ski areas of Dolomiti Superski (Ski Center Latemar, Skiarea Bellamonte-Lusia, and Skiarea Alpe Cermis) offer over 110 km of ski slopes suitable for all levels. Additionally, the Lavazè Pass and the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Center are centers of excellence for Nordic skiing, with 150 km of trails through forests and Dolomite scenery.

In summer, the valley offers hiking trails, mountain lakes, bike paths, and much more.

The culture of Val di Fiemme is reflected in each town, each with its own history, traditions, and characteristics: from Predazzo with the Geological Museum of the Dolomites to Cavalese with the Parco della Pieve and the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme. Traditions are also expressed in the cuisine, with mountain huts and traditional restaurants offering authentic flavors.

The valley hosts the Marcialonga every year, has welcomed three FIS Nordic Ski World Championships, and will be one of the venues for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
